The Partnerships & Blended Finance (CBF) Department plays a critical role in advancing IFC''s strategic objectives by mobilizing concessional catalytic capital and donor resources, managing relationships with bilateral and multilateral development partners, foundations, philanthropies, and other strategic stakeholders, and deploying blended finance solutions that help de-risk investments and attract private capital into high-impact projects. The department supports IFC''s efforts to expand investment opportunities in frontier and emerging markets, particularly in areas where commercial financing alone is insufficient to address market barriers or perceived risk.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Graduate Intern will work directly with the Director, Partnerships & Blended Finance and her small Front Office team, supporting strategic initiatives at the intersection of private capital mobilization, donor engagement, blended finance, and international development.
This internship provides an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and globally engaged department at the center of IFC''s 2030 agenda, while gaining exposure to senior management, international development finance, and World Bank Group operations.
