PP&A Engineer - Well Services Planning & Delivery

Support Safe and Efficient Plug & Abandonment Execution

We are looking for a PP&A Engineer to support the planning, preparation, and delivery of Plug & Abandonment operations. The role will focus on operational planning, service integration, execution readiness, and optimization of PP&A activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective well abandonment operations.

You will work closely with operations teams, service providers, contractors, and well integrity specialists to develop practical solutions that improve execution performance, minimize operational risk, and deliver consistent PP&A outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed operational plans and schedules in Wellcom.
• Prepare and optimize PP&A activity programmes to support efficient field execution.
• Review well status, barrier status, and historical operational data to identify opportunities and constraints.
• Support operational planning and readiness activities for well abandonment campaigns.
• Develop operational sequences, execution roadmaps, and procedural documentation for planned activities.
• Coordinate operational input from contractors, service partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify required services, equipment, logistics, and materials and ensure operational readiness.
• Support risk assessments, operational assurance activities, and barrier management processes.
• Establish time, resource, and cost estimates and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
• Monitor and incorporate lessons learned from field operations into future campaign planning.
• Support standardization and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce complexity, improve efficiency, and lower well abandonment costs.
• Facilitate seamless handover between planning and field execution teams.
• Ensure activities comply with HSE requirements, well integrity standards, company procedures, and regulatory obligations.
• Support performance tracking, KPI monitoring, and operational reporting throughout the PP&A lifecycle.

What We Are Looking For

• Relevant higher education in engineering, petroleum, wells, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience within well services, intervention, plugging and abandonment, drilling, completion, or well operations.
• Experience supporting offshore operations and multi-service delivery environments is preferred.
• Good understanding of well integrity, barrier management, and operational execution.
• Experience coordinating service providers and contractors in complex well operations.
• Understanding of planning systems, operational readiness processes, and cost management.
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to operational challenges.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• A strong HSE mindset with a passion for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable well services.
