Wealth Management Reconciliation Analyst FITB / Nostro / Depot

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Wealth Management Reconciliation Analyst with strong expertise in FITB, Nostro, and Depot account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience analyzing complex reconciliation breaks, performing transaction-level investigations, identifying root causes, and partnering with Operations teams to drive timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end analysis of complex FITB, Nostro, and Depot account reconciliation breaks.

• Identify root causes across systems, timing differences, and the complete transaction lifecycle.

• Investigate high-value, aged, and recurring reconciliation differences.

• Apply strong accounting judgment and detailed transaction-level analysis to determine the true drivers of breaks.

• Partner closely with Operations teams to resolve reconciliation breaks efficiently.

• Implement corrective actions and preventative controls to minimize recurring differences.

• Document root cause analysis, corrective actions, and control gaps in a clear and audit-ready manner.

• Support period-end close activities.

• Ensure timely clearance, escalation, or justification of reconciling items in accordance with policies and controls.

• Identify process and control improvement opportunities.

• Maintain accurate reconciliation documentation and support audit requirements.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with FITB account reconciliation breaks.

• Strong experience with Nostro and Depot reconciliations.

• Experience working in a Wealth Management or Asset Management environment.

• Strong transaction-level analysis and reconciliation skills.

• Proven ability to identify root causes of high-value, aged, and recurring breaks.

• Strong accounting and financial analysis knowledge.

• Experience partnering with Operations teams to resolve complex reconciliation issues.

• Ability to develop and implement preventative controls.

• Strong documentation and audit-readiness skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience

• 13+ years of professional experience preferred.

• Strong background in financial reconciliation and wealth/asset management operations.
