Waldron Private Wealth (Waldron) is looking for a Wealth Planning Strategist to execute Waldron’s financial planning process which encompasses analysis, client deliverables, technical planning topics, and value-added idea generation.

In this role you will:
  • Accountable for and manage the internal activities and execution of all aspects of the Waldron financial planning process for clients with combined annual revenue of $2MM to $8MM who are assigned to their team.
  • Perform assigned client-related duties including, reviewing and analyzing reports and presentations which encompass all aspects of a client’s financial picture, including investment duties. Advanced topic deliverable creation may be required by this role.
  • Run internal GAP process for assigned prospective clients to prepare the closing team to demonstrate Waldron’s unique value add including, but not limited to, oversight of all related deliverables.
  • Generate new planning and investment ideas and strategies and apply them to current and prospective client situations focusing on income tax, estate planning, risk analysis, cash flow needs, and other related topics.
  • Proactively identify client and prospect needs without direct assignment by Leadership.
  • Manage and develop relationships with client key stakeholders (e.g. family office, attorneys, accountants, etc.)
  • Direct and aid in the daily operations of the team, monitoring performance, ensuring efficiency, and providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  • Develop more skills and responsibilities to play the Service Advisor role on more complex client relationships and potentially develop more skills and responsibilities to lead client relationships.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all Firm departments to develop a holistic plan for client engagements. Provide top level concierge service to existing clients.
  • May attend and participate in client meetings; review all meeting notes and make necessary updates in applicable systems.
Experience/Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or related field required. Masters Degree in finance or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) total years of wealth management and investment related experience required. Six (6) years preferred.
  • Three (3) years of experience working with High Net Worth (HNW) ($1MM+ or $5MM+ investible assets, depending on assigned client pod) client families required.
  • Passed CFP®, CFA (Level II), CPA, JD or another approved advanced credential required.  
  • Investment Adviser Representative registration eligibility required within 3 months of start date (e.g. CFP, ChFC, PFS, CFA, CIC, Series 65, or Series 66).
