Weapon Systems Manager / Program Integrator (Foreign Military Sales)
Position Summary
Zachary Piper is seeking a Weapons Systems Manager to support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases by managing weapon system acquisition and sustainment activities from initial request through long‑term life‑cycle planning. This role provides technical, logistical, and programmatic support to ensure compliance with U.S. government security, export, and disclosure requirements.
Essential Functions
Essential job duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage FMS cases from initial equipment request through program life‑cycle sustainment.
Research and document foreign government weapon system requirements.
Prepare Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA), including identification of materiel, services, shipping requirements, and system life‑cycle cost estimates.
Review and analyze Letters of Request (LOR) for technical accuracy and completeness.
Calculate and document manpower requirements associated with FMS cases.
Develop and maintain FMS case documentation and case notes.
Coordinate Total Package Approach (TPA) planning and ensure accuracy of supporting documentation.
Vet requested equipment releases in compliance with technology security, export controls, classification guidance, and sensitive technology disclosure requirements.
Receive, process, and track requisitions related to FMS cases.
Forecast and support congressional notification requirements.
Develop and implement logistics program activities, including purchases, transfers, leases, and supporting technical documentation.
Coordinate subcontractors and field service personnel to resolve logistics issues and improve standardization and interchangeability of parts.
Required Qualifications
Experience managing or supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases or similar defense acquisition programs.
Ability to analyze and resolve sensitive and complex programmatic or logistical issues.
Ability to prepare written materials and brief senior‑level stakeholders.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, external customers, and senior government officials.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Experience working with database or enterprise systems used for tracking or case management.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
Five (5) to eight (8) years or more of relevant professional experience.
Familiarity with C5ISR systems and related equipment (e.g., radios, night vision devices, IT equipment).
