Global Information Technology’s Global Application and America’s Marketing group invite applicants for a web analytics & personalization developer. This role is integral to supporting our first-party data strategy within the marketing department through the generation, storage, reporting, and analysis of web traffic and user experiences to derive actionable insights.


This position is based out of the Piscataway, NJ location. Work visa sponsorship isnotavailable for this position.


What you'll do


+ Analytics Implementation & Governance: Lead the end-to-end tagging process using Google Tag Manager, ensuring strict adherence to data layer standards and implementation best practices.

+ Tag Development & Maintenance: Act as the internal expert for GA4 and GTM, writing custom JavaScript when necessary to implement, debug, and troubleshoot complex site tags.

+ Quality Assurance & Compliance: Conduct regular tagging audits and data integrity checks to ensure accurate tracking and full alignment with user consent and privacy regulations.

+ Reporting & KPI Management: Design and maintain automated dashboards to track core website KPIs, providing critical performance data to Marketing, Creative, and Planning teams.

+ Testing & Personalization: Implement and support A/B testing and custom user experiences using Adobe Target, while reporting on the effectiveness of site optimizations.

+ Strategic Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with web optimization and development teams to translate business requirements into technical tracking strategies and actionable insights.


Required Qualifications:


+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience

+ Expert knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

+ 3+ years of web analytics experience with digital marketing and application (customer-facing portals) environment required

+ 3+ years of experience with web analytics process design, implementation and documentation management experience


Preferred Qualifications:


+ 3+ years of experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery, with specific expertise in Single Page Applications (SPA) and Google Apps Script.

+ 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and data manipulation using SAS/SQL.

+ Proven track record of implementing and managing complex tagging strategies across large, enterprise-level web properties.

+ Demonstrated ability to discover and analyze complex data sets and translate those findings into clear, actionable business insights.


Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $94,000.00 - $137,000.00 USD


Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.


Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
