Web Application Support Manager

We are recruiting a Web Application Support Manager to lead the people, systems, and processes supporting a global enterprise application environment. This hands-on leadership role combines application support, web infrastructure, release management, project oversight, and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead North American support operations for externally facing applications and web-hosted systems.

• Manage technical professionals while overseeing performance, development, staffing, and compensation recommendations.

• Direct release management, change management, capacity planning, performance tuning, and production support activities.

• Support environments involving Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, Apache, Linux/Solaris, Jira, SharePoint, AccuRev, and Planview.

• Partner with application development, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams on system design and implementation.

• Manage multiple technical projects while identifying risks, resolving service issues, and protecting company and client information.

• Help establish global application-support standards, policies, processes, and technology recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

• At least eight years of experience supporting web systems, application infrastructure, or enterprise information services.

• Technical experience with Oracle WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, and Apache web environments.

• Demonstrated success leading application support specialists or other technical professionals.

• Strong background in project management, release management, change management, capacity planning, and production problem resolution.

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business leaders, clients, and vendors.

• Willingness to provide off-hours support and travel occasionally as business needs require.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
