POSITION OVERVIEWThis role joins Microsoft's Causal Games Team, the creators behind iconic titles like Solitaire. The team is currently building a brand-new platform around causal games and needs an experienced front-end developer to help support the existing stack and replace lost FTE capacity. The focus will be on delivering high-quality web game experiences by implementing small features and resolving basic web items.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES- Attend daily standups to discuss blockers and team project direction.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Design to deliver high-quality features.
- Translate Figma designs and interaction specs into tested, accessible, and production-ready UI components.
- Enhance, extend, and refine existing design systems and framework code with pixel precision.
- Troubleshoot, profile, and fix defects while ensuring implementations meet quality and performance standards.
- Participate in code reviews and utilize project management tools to plan, track, and communicate progress.
