NATURE OF WORK: This position has primary responsibility for the design, development, documentation and maintenance of the Nisqually Indian Tribe's web sites, web servers and related databases. The Web Developer is also responsible for internet based applications from concept through to implementation including application development. As a member of the Nisqually Tribe's Information Technology (IT) Department, this position collaborates with other members of the IT department and the Tribal organization to provide up to date information and access to information resources with an emphasis on web security while delivering a user friendly experience for the visitors, employees, and general council members when visiting Nisqually Tribal Web sites and portals.
