Web/Mobile Product Owner

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Web/Mobile Product Owner to support web and mobile applications, business processes, application requirements, testing, and user support. This role will work closely with business users, technical teams, field staff, and management to investigate application issues, define requirements, manage product backlogs, support Agile/Scrum activities, and help deliver effective application solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and prioritize product backlogs; write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Gather user requirements and help define business processes and functional requirements.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve application issues.
• Perform data analysis and assist with reports and business cases.
• Develop and participate in application testing and UAT.
• Develop training plans/materials and provide application training.
• Work with field users, business stakeholders, technical teams, and management.
• Perform application administration and support related procedures.
• Communicate technical issues and application functionality effectively to users and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 9 years with an Associate's degree.
• Experience managing web and/or mobile application products.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Experience with application requirements, testing, and user support.

Job Type: 1-year contract with potential for conversion
