Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Webmaster & Digital Accessibility Manager to lead the development, maintenance, accessibility, and performance of a complex digital ecosystem. This individual will serve as the primary technical resource for website governance, digital accessibility compliance, and web experience optimization.
In this role, you will oversee enterprise website operations, support web-based applications, drive accessibility initiatives, and leverage analytics to improve user engagement. You will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure digital properties remain accessible, secure, user-friendly, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain enterprise websites and digital properties to ensure performance, reliability, and functionality
Develop, test, debug, and deploy web pages and applications utilizing content management systems and modern web technologies
Monitor website health, conduct technical audits, and resolve issues impacting usability or performance
Lead digital accessibility initiatives and ensure compliance with ADA, Section 508, WCAG, and related accessibility standards
Develop and implement SEO strategies that improve search visibility, engagement, and overall digital effectiveness
Analyze website performance and user behavior using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and related reporting tools
Partner with internal stakeholders to support website content, digital communications, faculty microsites, and program pages
Create and maintain web governance standards, documentation, accessibility guidelines, and training resources
Key Requirements
5+ years of experience in web development, website administration, digital communications, or a related discipline
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development, Instructional Technology, or a closely related field
Strong hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, .NET, Python, and PHP
Experience supporting enterprise content management platforms including Cascade CMS, Sitefinity, and WordPress
Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and enterprise SEO strategies
Demonstrated expertise in ADA compliance, Section 508 requirements, WCAG standards, accessibility testing, and remediation practices
Knowledge of responsive web design, UX/UI best practices, and digital content optimization
Excellent communication, project management, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
