PART I: SUMMARY OF POSITION

The school webmaster is accountable for maintaining current, relevant and accessible webpages for their identified school. In addition, the webmaster is responsible for posting school-related messages to social media (for the high school position, only the webpages are required)

PART II: MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

A. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred

B. CREDENTIALS:

  • Successful completion of a Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance

C. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Back and front-end experience building and managing websites;
  • Experience writing and editing the web;
  • Working knowledge of ADA compliance requirements related to websites;
  • Ability to build consensus and work effectively within various departments;
  • Ability to take initiative and assume responsibility, ownership and accountability;
  • Exemplary interpersonal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong commitment to personal and professional growth and development; and
  • Experience working with diverse cultures and audiences

  • Day-to-day management the school website;
  • Ensure school website pages are compliant as it relates to ADA;
  • Provides assistance to teachers in the creation and maintenance of their teacher websites;
  • Posts school-related messages to social media;
  • Posts messages to digital signage located within school;
  • Perform other related duties as required.
