HGC Media builds complete marketing and lead-generation systems for local service businesses. Our team handles strategy, video production, advertising creative, CRM systems, and sales-funnel development.
We are building a specialized fulfillment team and are looking for an experienced Website and SEO Optimization Specialist to take ownership of website performance, local search visibility, landing-page optimization, and technical SEO across a growing portfolio of client accounts.
This is not a general marketing position. We are looking for someone who is highly skilled in website optimization and SEO and wants to take responsibility for measurable results within that specialty.
Primary Responsibilities
- Audit client websites for technical, SEO, usability, and conversion issues
- Build and improve service pages and landing pages
- Improve website speed, mobile performance, and user experience
- Perform keyword research for local service businesses
- Implement on-page SEO improvements
- Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, and page structure
- Manage local SEO improvements
- Optimize Google Business Profiles when assigned
- Monitor Google Search Console and website analytics
- Identify indexing, crawl, redirect, sitemap, and technical SEO issues
- Improve conversion paths, forms, calls to action, and booking flows
- Coordinate with HGC’s advertising, CRM, and creative specialists
- Document changes and maintain organized records for every client account
- Provide clear weekly updates on completed work, current priorities, and problems requiring attention
Required Experience
- At least two years of professional website or SEO experience
- Demonstrated experience working with local service businesses
- Strong understanding of local SEO
- Experience with WordPress and common page builders
- Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Ability to diagnose technical website problems
- Ability to improve website conversion rates, not only search rankings
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without constant supervision
Preferred Experience
- Google Business Profile optimization
- Landing-page development
- Basic HTML and CSS
- Call-tracking and form-tracking implementation
- Website migrations and redirect management
- Experience with GoHighLevel websites or funnels
- Experience working inside an agency fulfillment environment

Qualified candidates may be asked to complete a paid website and SEO evaluation. The evaluation may include:

- Prioritizing improvements
- Explaining what should be completed during the first 30 days

Compensation
Contract compensation will be based on experience, demonstrated ability, project scope, and the number of assigned client accounts.
