About Sedex

Sedex is a trusted partner for over 100,000 businesses worldwide, helping them create socially and environmentally sustainable supply chains. Through our platform's powerful data insights and expert guidance, we simplify the management, assessment, and reporting of sustainability performance.

Our Vision is to be a leader in making global supply chains more socially and environmentally sustainable. Our Mission is to provide data-driven insights, accessible tools, and exceptional services that support businesses in improving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance and outcomes.

The role

As the Website Manager, you will own the Sedex corporate website as a strategic marketing asset. Reporting into Marketing, you will define and deliver the website roadmap, manage day-to-day content, UX, and performance in WordPress CMS platform and partner closely with our WordPress developer on the co-development of new templates, features, and integrations — ensuring the site is fast, secure, on-brand, accessible, and optimised for lead generation, SEO, and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO).

The primary objective is to drive business growth by turning sedex.com into a high-performing engine that attracts, engages, and converts prospects and customers. You will orchestrate content, design, technical SEO, analytics, and martech integrations, while serving as the primary business interface to the web developer responsible for WordPress co-development.

NOTE: This role must be based in the USA.

Key Responsibilities

· Own and manage the corporate website strategy, roadmap, backlog, and release calendar aligned with marketing and brand goals.

· Manage all website content in WordPress, ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, localisation, accessibility, and user experience.

· Act as the main liaison with the WordPress developer by defining requirements, prioritising tasks, and QA testing before launch.

· Collaborate on new website templates, components, and features, contributing UX, wireframes, and content requirements.

· Oversee CMS maintenance, plugin management, staging/production workflows, backups, and scheduled updates with IT and developers.

· Drive SEO and AEO optimisation, including metadata, schema markup, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, and content structure.

· Manage integrations with marketing and analytics platforms including HubSpot, GA4, GTM, Salesforce, Semrush, and consent tools.

· Conduct regular QA testing, audits, bug triaging, and UX improvements across devices and browsers.

· Monitor and report on website performance, conversions, SEO rankings, uptime, and user engagement, providing actionable insights.

· Ensure website compliance, security, accessibility, stakeholder coordination, competitor analysis, and ongoing content optimisation.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

· 5+ years’ experience managing corporate or B2B SaaS websites, including hands-on WordPress administration.

· Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with strong digital marketing expertise.

· Proven experience collaborating with developers, managing tickets/sprints, and conducting UAT.

· Skilled in website content management, UX, project management, stakeholder communication, and agency coordination.

· Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for scoping, reviewing, and minor website updates.

· Strong understanding of SEO, AEO, GA4, GTM, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, CRO, and keyword optimisation.

· Experience with analytics, reporting, and marketing platforms including GA4, Looker Studio, HubSpot, Semrush, Salesforce, Profound, and 6Sense.

· Ability to manage cross-functional teams, external suppliers, and multiple projects under tight deadlines.

· Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, listening, and requirements-gathering skills.

· Experience developing and executing successful website, inbound marketing, and demand generation programmes.

· Knowledge of WordPress, marketing automation, web analytics, BI tools, accessibility tooling, and digital advertising platforms.

· Familiarity with Figma, staging environments, Git-based deployment workflows, and accessibility auditing tools is advantageous.
