Weekend Catering Event Captain – SUV Required – $310+ Per Event

We re hiring an exceptionally reliable, hands-on Server/Captain to run late-night food service at private events. You ll pick up and transport supplies, manage setup and service, communicate with clients and leave each space clean and organized.

IMPORTANT: You must own a reliable SUV or crossover with enough cargo space for food and event equipment.

WHAT YOU LL DO

Before the event:
Confirm timing, location and event details.
Pick up food, supplies and equipment.
Check the order for accuracy and load your vehicle safely.
Arrive on time and communicate any updates promptly.

At the event:
Introduce yourself to the client or venue contact.
Unload and set up an attractive, organized food station.
Confirm the service plan and take ownership of the event from start to finish.
Serve guests with a friendly, outgoing and professional attitude.
Monitor food levels, cleanliness, presentation and timing.
Solve problems calmly and keep APF manager informed.
Coordinate with event staff and follow venue rules.

After the event:
Break down and clean the service area.
Pack equipment and dispose of waste properly.
Confirm completion with the client or venue contact.
Return equipment and report any issues, shortages or feedback.

YOU RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
Own a reliable SUV or crossover and have a valid driver s license.
Can comfortably lift and carry 50 pounds.
Are EXTREMELY dependable and committed to every accepted shift.
Arrive early, prepared and ready to work.
Communicate clearly, frequently and professionally.
Have an outgoing personality and enjoy helping guests.
Take initiative without needing constant supervision.
Accept constructive feedback and apply it quickly.
Stay calm under pressure and pay close attention to details.
Are available for weekend nights and late-night events.

This is an active, physical and client-facing role. Reliability is essential: once you accept an event, the client and the entire team are counting on you.
