JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse/production environment. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely moving pallets between production lines, staging, and shipping areas. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to support production flow to prevent downtime.
Must have a minimum of 6 months-1 years’ experience driving a sit-down forklift within the last 2 years.
Experience operating an RF Scanner.
Basic computer skills.
Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stage pallets, skids, and materials.
Transport pallets from production lines to staging and shipping areas.
Verify counts as materials enter or leave the warehouse/production floor.
Accurately record and track all material movements and maintain inventory accuracy.
Handle scrap lists, ensuring all scraps are collected and loaded for timely removal.
Fulfill corrugated and product requests promptly to avoid production delays.
Ensure materials are properly banded, wrapped, and secured for safe storage and transport.
Occasionally change forklift batteries as needed.
Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report any maintenance issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to pass all new hire screenings.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
6 months–1 year of recent sit-down forklift driving experience (within the last 2 years).
Experience using an RF scanner.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Must be able to stand, reach, and use hands frequently while performing job duties.
