Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring an experienced caregiver or CNA to handle evening hospice care for our client. You will play a vital role in helping the client wind down comfortably for the night and ensuring a smooth transition to the overnight team.


Shift Details

• Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (16 hours/week)
  
  
• Pay: $15.00 – $17.00/hour (Based on experience & CNA status)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting with dinner prep, feeding assistance, and evening personal care/hygiene.
  
  
• Providing gentle repositioning, pain/comfort monitoring, and bed-prep routines.
  
  
• Ensuring a calm, peaceful environment and conducting a seamless handoff to the 11:00 PM overnight caregiver.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience Required: Prior hospice, palliative care, or CNA experience required.
  
  
• Reliability: Outstanding punctuality and attendance to ensure coverage handoffs.
  
  
• Qualifications: Must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and pass a background check.
