General Cleaner (Weekend Shift)

St. Louis, MO Schedule: Saturday & SundayShifts Available:• 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM• 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Position Overview

General Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of assigned areas. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning duties in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a safe and professional facility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming• Carpet extraction and floor care (stripping, waxing, buffing)• Trash removal and recycling• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms• Cleaning desks, walls, furniture, doors, and glass surfaces• Maintaining entryways and exterior areas within 10 feet of entrances• Window cleaning and light fixture dusting• Snow and ice removal (as needed)• Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

• Excellent work history and reliability• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment• Team-oriented with the ability to follow direction• Reliable transportation required• Must be able to pass a background check• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred (not required)• Previous cleaning experience is a plus (training available)

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling• Lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally• Extensive standing and walking throughout the shift• Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold environments)• Must be able to meet productivity and service expectations
