We are seeking an experienced and dependable Weekend Lead Mental Health Technician to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. This leadership-focused role is responsible for supporting weekend operations, maintaining a safe and structured treatment environment, and serving as a resource for Mental Health Technicians while ensuring continuity of patient care and operational excellence.
The Weekend Lead MHT plays a critical role in supporting patients, reinforcing accountability, assisting with team coordination, and helping maintain a therapeutic environment throughout the weekend shift.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support to weekend Mental Health Technician staff
- Assist in maintaining smooth day-to-day weekend operations across the campus
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic treatment environment
- Support patients throughout treatment by providing supervision, engagement, and accountability
- Monitor patient activity, conduct rounds, and ensure compliance with schedules and programming
- Communicate important patient and operational updates to nursing, clinical, and leadership teams
- Assist with admissions, discharges, transportation, room checks, and safety procedures
- Conduct room searches, belongings checks, and safety inspections in accordance with facility policy
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
- Help reinforce professionalism, teamwork, and consistency among staff
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and facility protocols
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, mental health, or related field required
- Prior leadership or senior technician experience preferred; 3+ years
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong observation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Valid driver's license required
Additional Requirements
- CPR and SAMA certification required within 30 days of employment
- Must be available to work weekends and support operational coverage needs
