What Youll Do

As an LPN at NHC HealthCare Oakwood, you will play an important role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

• Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate members of the care team.

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.

• Prioritize patient care needs and help coordinate an efficient workflow.

• Follow current standards of nursing practice and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

• Use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to support quality patient care.

• Communicate compassionately with patients, families, and fellow team members.

• Help create a positive, supportive environment for our patients and partners.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Compassion for serving the geriatric population

• Positive attitude and team-focused approach

New Grads Welcome! We also welcome Graduate Nurses (GNs) and Graduate Practical Nurses (GPNs) who are beginning their nursing careers.
