Weekend Manufacturing Team Supervisor

$32–$38/hr | Direct Hire | Weekend Shift

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee weekend production for a busy sheet metal manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows manufacturing, can lead by example, and is comfortable making decisions on the production floor.

The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience and a strong understanding of fabrication processes, employee performance, safety, and production scheduling.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Direct weekend production activities and coordinate daily assignments
• Lead and support employees throughout the production shift
• Monitor workflow and make adjustments to keep production on schedule
• Provide hands-on support when production challenges arise
• Enforce company safety procedures and quality expectations
• Track team performance, attendance, productivity, and safety
• Coach employees and assist with training and cross-training
• Identify production bottlenecks and help implement solutions
• Encourage teamwork and continuous improvement
• Coordinate with maintenance and scheduling teams to minimize downtime
• Communicate production updates and concerns to management
• Help ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time

What We're Looking For

• Previous supervisor, lead, or team leadership experience in manufacturing or fabrication
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal production processes
• Experience with laser cutting, press brakes, welding, and robotic welding
• Understanding of manufacturing quality and safety practices
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and keep employees focused
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
• Experience with Infor ERP, AS400, Controlled Warehouse Systems, or Paycor is a plus
• Ability to motivate, train, and hold team members accountable
