Weekend Night Auditor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift. This position involves managing guest services, performing accounting tasks, and maintaining the overall security of the hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, be multilingual or bilingual, and have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently while maintaining accurate records in the hotel management system.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports summarising occupancy rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators.
• Maintain a clean and organised front desk area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette at all times.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery throughout the hotel.
• Monitor security systems and respond to any emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
• Strong guest service skills with a commitment to providing exceptional experiences for guests.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are an advantage, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
