Weekend Shift | CNC| Wire EDM Machinist

2ND SHIFT WEEKEND |  CNC/WEDM MACHINIST 
Great opportunity to join a great company with a strong culture. We are looking for an experienced CNC / Wire EDM Machinist for our 2nd Shift Weekend schedule.
This is a machinist position, not a basic machine operator role. We are looking for someone with hands on machining experience who understands the machining process and can independently set up and run machines.
SCHEDULE

• 2nd Shift Weekend
• Work 3 @12 hour days ( FR, SA, SU)
• Work the entire 36 hour schedule and get paid for 40 hour
• Temp to hire opportunity

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate CNC / Wire EDM machines
• Run machines and parts independently
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Make basic offsets and machine adjustments
• Work with tight tolerance parts
• Use micrometers, calipers, pins, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Perform quality inspections
• Maintain quality and production standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• CNC or Wire EDM machining experience
• Machine set up experience
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Understanding of offsets and machine adjustments
• Experience working with tight tolerances
• Understanding of quality inspections
• Ability to work independently
• Programming experience is not required
• Strong work ethic
• Dependable and reliable
• Good stable work history
• Good personality and attitude
