Available Shifts & Pay:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM, Monday to Thursday
Pay: $20 to $24 based on Experience
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled welder to join our fabrication and assembly team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, welding, and testing metal components for a variety of industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings, maintain equipment, and perform high-quality welding work with attention to safety and detail. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements
- Set up, operate, and maintain manual welding equipment
- Select proper welding materials and methods based on job specifications
- Use jigs, fixtures, clamps, and hand tools to align components accurately
- Perform welds that meet quality standards and perform visual inspections
- Adjust welding parameters and settings to meet production needs
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and protocols
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of manufacturing prints and production processes
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to read measuring tools like tape measures and calipers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-core welding methods
- Experience using a variety of electrical and manual hand tools
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining productivity
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot
- Willingness and ability to learn new welding methods and test equipment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 70 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision welding
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods
