Description

Welder – 1st Shift

Location: Milwaukee
Pay Rate: $18/hour

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Welders. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to build hands-on welding skills and grow within a manufacturing environment.

Schedule
  • Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Post-Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Training Program
Training will include:
  • Weld safety and preparation
  • Blueprint reading
  • Materials and metals knowledge
  • Equipment setup
  • Virtual training modules
Responsibilities
  • Weld I-beam frames and fuel tanks in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
  • Work with sheet metal thickness ranging from 10 gauge up to ½ inch
  • Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind, or bolt component parts to achieve required configurations and positions for welding
  • Position and secure workpieces using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines, or hand tools
  • Inspect products and equipment for defects or malfunctions
  • Follow safety procedures and quality standards throughout the welding process
Qualifications
  • Willingness to learn and develop welding skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints (or willingness to learn)
  • Strong attention to detail and safety
  • Ability to work with hand tools, welding equipment, and lifting devices
  • Manufacturing or welding experience is a plus, but not required
