Overview:
- Seeking an experienced Welder to inspect and repair welded steel cylinders using FCAW and other welding processes. The ideal candidate has strong welding skills and can work safely in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
- Inspect and repair welded cylinders to required specifications
- Perform FCAW welding, cutting, grinding, and repairs
- Use oxyacetylene torch and hand tools as needed
- Record measurements and repair information accurately
- Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Job Requirements:
- Flux-Core welding experience required
- 3G welding experience required
- SMAW/SAW experience is a plus
- Ability to pass a welding test
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to stand, kneel, climb, crawl, and work in various positions
