Schedule: Full-Time, 2nd Shift
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 PM-5:30 AM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Penmac Staffing is seeking an experienced Welder for a full-time 2nd shift opportunity in Heber Springs. This is a great opportunity for individuals with MIG welding experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Requirements for the Welder
- Minimum of 2 years of welding or manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with MIG welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and quality standards
Welder Responsibilities
- Perform general welding tasks using MIG welding techniques
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to complete welding projects accurately
- Maintain and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with production team members to identify and resolve welding-related issues
- Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures
- Contribute to a productive and efficient work environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Ability to work in an active manufacturing environment
Work EnvironmentThis position is located in a manufacturing facility where employees may be exposed to noise, heat, and other industrial conditions. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
