Job Title: 2nd Shift MIG Welder
Location: Burnsville, MN
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2nd Shift

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled MIG Welder to join our 2nd shift team. This hands-on role involves MIG welding of metal components, with potential support for robotic welding operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months to 1 year of consistent MIG welding experience, though recent technical school graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG welding on metal parts and assemblies according to specifications
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
  • Assist in monitoring robotic welding machines and identifying any weld quality issues
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or welding symbols
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, following safety protocols at all times
  • Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment as needed
  • Heavy lifting and physical labor may be required
Requirements:
  • 6 months to 1 year of consistent MIG welding experience OR recent completion of a welding program/technical college
  • Ability to perform accurate welds on a variety of metal components
  • Familiarity with hand tools and standard welding safety practices
  • Comfortable working around robotic welders and assisting with troubleshooting quality issues
  • Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
  • Able to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Gear welding experience is a plus
