Welder-2nd Shift

Crown Staffing is now hiring a full-time welder in St.Charles, MO!
Monday-Friday | 5:00pm- 3:30am | $24/Hr
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate welding and fabrication equipment to assemble metal studs into prefabricated components according to fabrication drawings.
  
• Work with automated welding systems to produce consistent, high-quality panel sections up to 32' tall.
  
• Assist with manual fabrication of larger panel sections on special tables as required.
  
• Participate in rolling and forming metal studs to precise tolerances (1/32" of an inch) across gauges ranging from 25 to 12.
  
• Ensure proper incorporation of special punch patterns, anchor holes, and other specifications during the roll forming process.
  
• Apply finishing materials to panels, including sheathing, vapor barriers, foam insulation, and wood bucks, as directed.
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to company safety protocols.
  
• Assist with loading panels onto trucks using overhead cranes.
  
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  

• Proven welding experience, preferably with metal studs and prefabricated components.
  
• Familiarity with automated welding systems and fabrication equipment.
  
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  
• Physical ability to handle heavy materials and operate overhead cranes.
  
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
  
• Knowledge of safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
