Shift: Monday - Friday | 6 AM - 5 PM

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 2-5 years of structural steel and/or pipe welding experience preferred
• Experience fitting and welding pipe and structural assemblies
• Ability to read fabrication drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and isometric drawings
• Experience with FCAW, SMAW, MIG, and TIG welding processes
• Strong measuring and layout skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and isometric drawings
• Lay out, fit, tack, and assemble structural steel components and piping systems
• Perform structural welding using FCAW, SMAW, GMAW (MIG), and GTAW (TIG) processes
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys to specifications
• Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare materials using fabrication equipment
• Align components using jacks, clamps, levels, and measuring devices
• Perform pipe fitting, fit-up, flange alignment, and spool assembly
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
• Repair weld defects as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, structural welding, or production environments is preferred.
• Experience using grinders, saws, cutting equipment, and metal fabrication tools is beneficial.
• Knowledge of weld inspection, blueprint interpretation, and quality control procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate craftsmanship, dependability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Welder.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.

As a Welder you will prepare materials, set up welding equipment, perform MIG welding operations, inspect completed welds, read blueprints, verify measurements, and help fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications. You will maintain welding equipment, follow quality standards, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations while producing consistent, high-quality work.

The Welder helps transform raw materials into finished products through skilled MIG and TIG welding and metal fabrication techniques. This role combines craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to support efficient manufacturing.
