Experience:
Five years of commercial/industrial experience as a first-class Welder. TIG, MIG
Required Skills:
1. All position fillet and butt welds using the following processes: SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding), and GMAW-P (Pulse Arc Welding), Stick, Mig.
2. Heating - Oxygen/Propane Heating Torch.
3. Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
5. Air Carbon Arc Gouging.
6. Ability to properly use fillet and butt weld gauges.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding, Stick welding, and MIG welding tasks according to project requirements.
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and protocols while working.
- Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate and weld components accurately.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively.
- Conduct fabrication work using sheet metal and other materials as needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Continuously improve welding skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
- Follow company guidelines and procedures for quality control and project completion.
