What You'll Do as a Welder:- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding materials and techniques
- Perform MIG welding on metal components in various positions
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
- Operate grinders and other finishing tools to prepare and complete welds
- Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and safe
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines
What You Need to Bring to the Welder Role:- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment required
- Proficiency in MIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the workday
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE
