Welder

Express is seeking a Welder for a Custom Metal Fabrication Company in Allison!

Express is seeking experienced Welders to assist with a large upcoming fabrication project. This is a 6-7 month temporary assignment with potential for long-term employment for candidates who are a good fit! The ideal candidate will have MIG and TIG welding experience and be comfortable working in a fabrication environment.

SHIFT:

• Daylight: 7:00am-3:30pm OR 6:00am-2:30pm

• Midnight: 4:00pm-Midnight with shift differential

Job Assignment: Approximately 6-7 months, with potential for long-term employment

Job Duties of the Welder:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on fabricated metal components

• Read and follow welding specifications and work instructions

• Prepare materials and surfaces for welding

• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy

• Maintain welding equipment and a clean, organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and proper welding practices

• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines

• Other duties as required

Qualifications of the Welder:

• High school diploma or GED

• MIG and TIG welding experience

• Ability to successfully complete a weld test prior to placement

• Attention to detail and safety

• Reliability

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to bend, lift, twist, crouch, etc.
