Responsibilities:
Performed MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
Read and interpreted blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
Set up and operated welding equipment, grinders, cutting tools, and other fabrication machinery.
Measured, cut, fitted, and assembled metal parts according to specifications and quality standards.
Inspected completed welds for strength, accuracy, and compliance with company and industry standards.
Performed routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment.
Maintained a safe and organized work environment while following OSHA and company safety procedures.
Collaborated with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines and quality requirements.
Repaired damaged metal components and performed rework as needed.
Recorded production information and completed required documentation accurately.
