Welder (MIG/TIG)
Location: Johnstown, CO
Pay: $23.00–$30.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday
  • Current schedule: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (overtime available)
  • Future schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Overview
Seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our growing team. This position is responsible for fabricating and assembling custom metal products using MIG and TIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, assembling parts to specification, and producing high-quality welds in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Assemble fabricated parts according to specifications.
  • Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and common fabrication equipment.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Dress Code / PPE
This position is performed in a manufacturing and fabrication environment. Employees should wear:
  • Steel-toe work boots
  • Jeans or durable work pants (no shorts)
  • Cotton or flame-resistant long-sleeve shirts preferred while welding
  • Safety glasses (required)
  • Welding helmet, gloves, and other required PPE (provided or required per company policy)
  • Clothing should be free of rips or loose material that could create a safety hazard.
