Position: Welder
Schedule: Day Shift (Monday- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p) Night Shift (Monday- Friday 4p-2:45a)
Summary of Position
Under the supervision of the department supervisor, welders are responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal components using various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. This role interprets blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to produce high‑quality welds that meet engineering and safety specifications. Duties include setting up welding equipment, preparing materials, performing welds to required tolerances, inspecting finished work, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Welders must follow all company, OSHA, and quality standards, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. They must have stamina, the ability to lift heavy loads, be able to concentrate on performing tasks and commit to safety rules.
Essential Functions
