Adecco is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join a growing manufacturing team on B Shift. This position is responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding, metal fabrication, assembly, and quality inspections while maintaining production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on metal components according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting gas flow and welding parameters.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents.
Prepare materials for welding by cleaning and positioning components.
Grind, finish, and inspect welded products to ensure quality standards are met.
Assemble fabricated components and complete production tasks accurately and efficiently.
Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and maintain required tolerances.
Complete production records and job documentation.
Troubleshoot basic welding and fabrication issues and report equipment concerns.
Move materials throughout the facility using forklifts, hand trucks, or other approved equipment as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
Qualifications
Previous welding and fabrication experience required.
Experience with MIG welding required; TIG welding experience strongly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
Experience using measuring instruments and maintaining precise tolerances.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials safely.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and industrial equipment.
