Our client is looking to bring on a Welder. Our client is a manufacturer of aftermarket, OEM, and custom tanks for various vehicles including school buses, semi-trucks, fire trucks, and construction vehicles. They provide a wide range of products including diesel fuel tanks, hydraulic tanks, and custom-made tanks.
Qualified candidates will need to have a minimum of 3 years of aluminum/steel TIG and MIG welding experience.
Job Duties:
- MIG/TIG welding & fitting of diesel fuel tanks. Must have aesthetically pleasing welds.
- Perform pulse MIG welding on various steel components, including sheet metal, pipe, and structural elements, adhering to print specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, & TIG.
- Diagnose weld issues specifically with aluminum welding.
- Clean and maintain welding equipment and work area
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of MIG/TIG welding experience.
- Experience welding aluminum.
- Experience welding steel.
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG especially aluminum.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks.
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols in welding operation.
