Welder

Tesla is a leading manufacturer and looking for an individual specialized in structural welding and fabrication. We work on a range of projects, from small-scale work to large, complex structural frames. We pride ourselves on our commitment to high-quality workmanship while maintaining costs and high throughput.

Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM; Monday - Friday

• Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum, and TIG welding on stainless steel
• Work on a variety of projects ranging from small components to large structural frames
• Ensure all welds meet strict quality and print specification
• Maintain high throughput with a focus on speed and accuracy
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine project specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety protocols
• Ability to operate a fork-lift and an overhead crane
• 3-5 years experience welding within a manufacturing facility
• Experience with welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Specific technical or vocational training preferred
• Regularly lift 30lbs.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of safety standards and welding equipment

Expected Compensation

$27.45 - $46.56/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
