Metal Fabricator / Welder (Fence Fabrication) Middleborough, MA $20-$30 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator / Welder to join our team specializing in custom fence fabrication. This role involves building high-quality metal products including fence panels, gates, posts, and other custom components in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate has welding experience, takes pride in precision fabrication work, and can interpret blueprints to produce accurate, durable finished products.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate custom metal products including fence panels, gates, posts, and related structures
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and tolerances
• Operate fabrication tools including saws, grinders, routers, sanders, and hand tools
• Measure, mark, and align materials to ensure proper fit and finish
• Grind, sand, and polish metal surfaces to prepare and complete finished products
• Inspect completed work using measurements, templates, and visual inspection
• Move and position materials using forklifts or material handling equipment
• Work collaboratively with team members and production leadership
• Assist in other shop tasks as needed to support workflow
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience (MIG, TIG, and Stick required)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with metal fabrication tools and equipment
• attention to detail and ability to work within tight tolerances
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Willingness to work in dusty environments and wear PPE when required
• Ability to distinguish colors and textures for quality control
• maintain attendance, reliability, and sense of urgency
• Ability to follow direction from production leadership

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana testing)
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and competetive work ethic
• Willingness to assist in other areas of production when needed

• Competitive hourly pay: $20-$30/hr based on experience
