Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

This role focuses on custom welding and fabrication work in a shop environment directly from blueprints. You will work primarily with high-strength structural steel using MIG and flux core processes.

Pay:

  • $22-$28 per hour based on experience

Shift:

  • 2nd shift, 4 10's work schedule

  • Monday- Thursday

  • 2pm-11:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and build from detailed blueprints, taking projects from raw material to finished assemblies.

  • Interpret and read blueprints accurately and translate them into precise fabrication and welding tasks.

  • Perform MIG on high-strength structural steel (typically 100–130 yield), ensuring strong, clean, and consistent welds.

  • Perform out-of-position welding and welding in tight or confined spaces while maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • Use fabrication skills to lay out, fit, and assemble parts, including measuring, cutting, and preparing materials according to prints.

  • Operate plasma cutters, laser cutters, and material handling equipment, including cranes, to move and position product safely.

  • Use basic hand tools, personal welding hood, and other equipment safely and effectively throughout the fabrication process.

This is a Permanent position based out of Carlisle, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $28.50/hr.
