We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator with two years of experience to join our team. The role involves fabricating and welding filtration equipment, piping, and structural components using blueprints and work orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld filtration equipment, pipes, and structural components.
- Interpret and apply AWS welding symbols accurately.
- Set up and operate GMAW and FCAW welding processes, selecting proper wire, shielding gases, and adjusting feed speeds/voltage.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Operate preheat-cutting torches, stud welders, and overhead cranes.
- Train other employees on welding procedures as needed.
- Complete and submit work orders, reports, and documentation accurately.
- Support company policies, department procedures, and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment and resolve fabrication issues.
Qualifications & Experience:- 2+ years of welding/fabrication experience.
- Proven knowledge of AWS welding symbols and codes.
- Certified in AWS-1G unlimited thickness or ASTM Section 9.
- Proficiency in GMAW and FCAW welding processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and urgency.
- Basic computer literacy preferred.
