Job Description
Join a dynamic and growing team at a brand-new manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC, focused on producing large-scale generator enclosure systems and future emissions-control technologies. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a startup operation and contribute significantly to its growth and success.
Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components and structural assemblies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Fabricate and weld large enclosure systems for power generation applications.
  • Maintain high quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve processes and efficiencies.
Essential Skills
  • MIG welding experience on carbon steel.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and production standards.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or use an overhead crane for heavier items.
  • Independent work ability with minimal supervision.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

The facility supports the full manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
