This role involves welding and fabrication work on containers, compactors, and fleet vehicles, including repairing, welding (MIG, ARC), cutting, grinding, and installing components.
Responsibilities include maintaining a safe workspace, completing paperwork, operating tools and equipment, and assisting with compactor installations.
Skills needed are welding proficiency, mechanical aptitude, knowledge of shop tools, and safe operation of forklifts/skid steers.
Preferred experience includes at least one year of welding/cutting or technical training.
Physical demands include lifting up to 100 lbs, working outdoors in varying conditions, and climbing or bending frequently.
Additional requirements include valid driver’s license, ability to work overtime, and pre-employment testing.
