Welder

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the fabrication and repair processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $21

Shift: 10 pm to 6 am, Sunday through Thursday
overtime is scheduled prior to shift time and can be heavy including Fridays

What's the Job?

• Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques and welding devices.
• Position parts according to work orders, routings, and prints, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Regulate welding machines for proper current, wire feed, and gas flow to achieve optimal results.
• Ensure that the fit, function, and appearance of welds meet or exceed quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent. REQUIRED
• At least one (1) year of MIG and TIG welding experience. REQUIRED
• Knowledge of blueprints and welding symbols is preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and solve practical fabrication problems.
