Stand-By Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Side Frame Welder for a growing industrial facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for skilled welders looking to join a fast-paced manufacturing team.

Job Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform MIG and/or Stick welding on side frame components and assemblies
  
• 
  Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and production specifications
  
• 
  Fit, align, and tack parts prior to final welding
  
• 
  Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  
• 
  Grind, clean, and finish welds as needed
  
• 
  Perform minor adjustments and repairs to components
  
• 
  Maintain welding equipment and tools
  
• 
  Follow all safety policies and procedures
  
• 
  Keep work area clean and organized
  
• 
  Meet production goals while maintaining quality workmanship

Qualifications:

• 
  High school diploma or GED preferred
  
• 
  Previous welding experience required (MIG and/or Stick)
  
• 
  Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
  
• 
  Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and quality control
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• 
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  
• 
  Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive motion
  
• 
  Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (heat, noise, dust)
