About the RoleWatson Custom Tanks is seeking a skilled Class A Welder/Fabricator to join our growing production team. This role focuses on high‑quality stainless steel tank fabrication using TIG and Pulsed MIG welding. We are looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented professional who takes pride in craftsmanship and works well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality TIG and Pulsed MIG welds with minimal defectsLayout and fabricate tank components including heads and shellsRead and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and measurementsUse weld gauges and complete weld, heat code, and traveler documentationOperate hand tools, overhead cranes, and equipment safelyWork in confined spaces as neededFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsSupport team members and assist with additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

3-5 years of fabrication and stainless steel welding experienceAbility to pass:

6G ASME pipe TIG test2G ASME plate Pulsed MIG test3G (downhill) ASME plate Pulsed MIG test

Strong fabrication skills and mechanical aptitudeProficient with blueprints, tape measures, and weld symbolsASME shop experience preferredWelding certification preferred; high school diploma preferred, not required
