The Welder Combination B is responsible for ensuring safety while performing welding and construction tasks related to natural gas mains, services, and facilities.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or G.E.D., a valid Class A CDL with a safe driving record, and the ability to operate pipe tools and pipeline construction equipment.
Must pass weld tests meeting federal and state codes for oxygen acetylene or electric arc welding and may need to use self-contained breathing apparatus during emergencies.
Other requirements involve protecting networks from cyber threats, legal work authorization, drug testing, and background checks.
Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience in natural gas welding and knowledge of the industry.
Wage: $40.58/hour for Welder B; $45.28/hour for Welder A after two years of experience.
