Responsibilities
Perform welding tasks on various materials
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings and safety measures are in place.
Inspect finished welds for quality and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance welding skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional welding certifications preferred.
Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a welding environment.
