Personnel Resources has multiple opportunities for experienced Mig Welders in the Ariton area. The ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various welding techniques and equipment. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Pay will range between $16.00 - $18.00 per hour and will be working Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm schedule with weekend overtime.
Duties:
- Perform MIG welding on steel and other metals as required
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Align, clamp, and prepare parts for welding and final assembly
- Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, and drills
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Capable of bending, kneeling, and working in various positions
- Comfortable working in a shop environment
